Product Safety Information (GPSR)

This page gives EU customers the product safety and contact information required by the EU General Product Safety Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/988, "GPSR"). It applies to every product sold on darkyarn.com and shipped to an EU country.

Seller, manufacturer and EU Responsible Person

Dark Yarn is based in the United States, so an EU Responsible Person is named for products sold into the EU.

For designer and third-party brands, the manufacturer's own name and trademark appear on the product page, and their full postal and email details are sent on request to the address above.

Product identification and safety information

Each product page shows the product name, images, SKU or model number, and the brand or manufacturer. Where a product has a batch or lot number, it is shown on the product label or packaging.

Product-specific warnings, where they apply, appear on the product page.

Reporting a safety concern, recalls and corrective actions

If a product causes a safety problem, or you believe it is unsafe, email gpsr@sindenventures.com with your order number, the product name or SKU, a description of the problem and, if possible, photos. Please stop using the product until we reply.

We record every report, pass it to the manufacturer, and tell the relevant market surveillance authority where the law requires it. If a product is recalled or subject to a corrective action, we contact affected customers using the details on their order and publish the notice on this page.

Customers in the EU can also contact their national market surveillance authority.
